My grandmother taught me to braid on her front porch in Macon, and I've been doing hair ever since. Crown & Coil is where I get to slow down and give every client neat parts, tension that doesn't hurt, and styles that last.

Before Your Appointment
Please come with your hair washed, fully dry, detangled and blown out. If you'd rather we handle it, add a wash and blow-dry when you book.
Send your inspo pics in chat at least two days ahead so I can pull the right hair color and length. Braiding hair is included on most styles. Small and boho styles can take five to seven hours, so bring a snack and a charger.
Braid Care
Sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet, keep your scalp moisturized with a light oil, and skip heavy gels at the roots. A gentle rinse with diluted shampoo every week or two keeps everything fresh.
Most styles last six to eight weeks. Leaving braids in much longer can stress your edges, so book your takedown and wash before your next style.
