Little Explorers began as a Saturday painting circle in my garage. Now we have a bright studio on 22nd Ave with big windows, a drying rack that's always full, and a sink that has seen every color of paint there is.
Kids sign up by the term and work on one big theme at a time: ocean creatures, Pacific Northwest forests, famous artists. We use real materials, we let kids make a mess, and every term ends with a gallery night where families come see the work hung on the walls.

This Term
Our fall theme is Pacific Northwest Forests. Kids are painting cedar trees with watercolor, making clay banana slugs and building a giant collage mushroom that's taking over the back wall.
Fall gallery night is Sat Dec 12 at 5:00 PM. Every artist gets a spot on the wall, and there's lemonade and cookies for the whole family. Winter term starts the week of Jan 11.
Birthday Parties
Two hours of art for up to 12 kids: a guided project, a free-paint table and time for cake. We set up, we clean up and every guest goes home with their own masterpiece.
