My grandmother Rosa opened this place in 1986 with eight tables and a pot of Sunday sauce that never seemed to empty. We've grown to forty seats, but the meatballs, the sauce and the cannoli filling are still her recipes, and I still make the sauce every morning.
We don't take regular reservations, so join the waitlist from your phone and grab a drink down the block. We'll text you when your table is ready.

Feeding a crowd? Rosa's recipes come by the tray, perfect for birthdays, office lunches and holidays at home. Each half tray feeds 8 to 10. Order at least two days ahead.

Sunday Sauce
The sauce starts every morning at 7:00 AM: San Marzano tomatoes, garlic, basil and a little pork for depth, simmered for four hours. It's the same recipe Rosa started with in 1986.
