Petal Post started as a flower cart at the Ballard Sunday Farmers Market. Now we have a little shop on Ballard Avenue, but we still buy most of our stems from Washington growers in the Skagit Valley and around Woodinville.

Our weekly flower plan is the heart of the shop. Every Friday, we bike or drive fresh bouquets to homes and offices all over the city. Seasonal, loose, a little wild, and always wrapped in brown paper.

WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY

  • “The Bloom plan is the best treat I give myself. Every Friday is a surprise and nothing ever looks like a grocery store bouquet.”

    — Hannah Becker

  • “Ordered sympathy flowers last minute and Clara delivered them to Queen Anne in two hours. So kind and so beautiful.”

    — Ethan Park

  • “The wreath workshop was such a fun night. Book early, it sells out every December.”

    — Olivia Grant

Weddings & Events

We design flowers for a small number of weddings each season: loose, seasonal and a little wild, like the rest of our shop. Most of our stems come from Washington growers, so your flowers are as fresh as they look.

How it works:

1.A free consultation in the shop, with photos of anything you love.
2.A written proposal within a week.
3.Delivery and setup on the day, plus cleanup if you need it.

Wedding flowers start at $1,200. We're booking 2027 dates now, and we also do rehearsal dinners, showers and office events.

Where Our Flowers Come From

From spring to fall, nearly everything in the shop comes from Washington farms in the Skagit Valley and around Woodinville: tulips in April, peonies in June, dahlias all of August and September.

In winter we bring in roses and ranunculus from West Coast growers and lean on dried flowers and evergreens. Every bouquet is wrapped in brown paper, the same way we did at the market cart.
