I learned to sew in my mother's tailoring shop in Lima and opened Stitch & Hem near Menlo Park in 2003. Twenty-plus years later, I still do every wedding gown fitting myself.
We keep your measurements on file so you never have to be measured twice. Most hems are ready in three days, and rush service is always available for the wedding you forgot was this Saturday.

Bridal Fittings
I do every wedding gown fitting myself. Book your first fitting eight to ten weeks before the wedding and bring the shoes and undergarments you'll wear on the day.
Most gowns need two or three fittings. Bridesmaids can book together, and we keep everyone's measurements on file.
Turnaround Times
Hems and simple fixes: 3 days. Suits and dresses: about a week. Wedding gowns: 4 to 6 weeks. Rush service is available for most jobs. Just ask when you drop off.
